Marking World Mental Health Day and World Homeless Day 2021

The Oxfordshire Mental Health Partnership and Oxfordshire Homeless Movement are combining to mark World Mental Health Day and World Homeless Day, both of which fall on 10th October.

Featuring experts by experience as guest speakers, a webinar will explore some of the toughest barriers to good mental health support and how third-sector partners plan to overcome them at a crucial time. The webinar is also a chance to have your say on the future of Oxfordshire’s mental wellbeing.

Oxfordshire’s homelessness problems epitomise the inequality in our county and lack of access to affordable housing pushes too many people into crisis. At least 50 per cent of people experiencing homelessness are diagnosed with a mental health condition, underlining the inextricable linkages between both issues.

Register for a free ticket on EventBrite here. The webinar takes place from 1-2pm on 13th October, three days after World Mental Health Day and World Homeless Day.
