About Elmore’s Family Solutions Plus Domestic Abuse Service
As part of Family Solutions Plus, Oxfordshire Social Workers, Children’s Practitioners, and adult mental health, substance misuse, and domestic abuse third-sector workers collaborate to engage families.
Elmore leads the Family Solutions Plus (FSP) Domestic Abuse service. Motivational interviewing is the heart of the model and a single ‘workbook’ approach is used to assess parents’ capacity for change.
Elmore aims to provide a safe space for victims and survivors and perpetrators of domestic abuse. We work with perpetrators in group and individual settings to recognise, acknowledge, and change harmful and controlling behaviour.
Elmore works with parents and guardians who have been victims and perpetrators of domestic abuse to help them identify their strengths and build on them, learn about the positive changes that they want to make, and support them to create lasting positive change for themselves. Elmore helps to keep more children safely at home with their families as a result.
