There are great benefits to working with Elmore.
Pay
Elmore employees are guaranteed a salary that matches their skills and responsibilities. Individual pay is increased annually by increments and each year the Board of Trustees decide on an additional payment to meet any rising costs of living.
Elmore cares about fair pay. We are accredited to the Living Wage Foundation’s Real Living Wage and Oxford Living Wage. The Oxford Living Wage is an hourly minimum pay that recognises the high cost of living in Oxford by promoting liveable earnings. The rate of the Oxford Living Wage is set annually at 95% of the London Living Wage and linked to the Living Wage Foundation’s Real Living Wage.
Annual Leave
25 days of annual leave per year (rising by 1 additional day for each year of service completed up to a maximum of 30 days pro rata) and the 8 statutory holidays. For part-time staff these figures are adjusted pro rata.
Employee Support
Employees can access a free Employee Assistance Programme providing confidential support, resources, and referrals for every aspect of work and personal life.
Development
Employees have two types of supervision held separately by their manager: caseload and individual development supervision. If a role does not carry a caseload, caseload supervision will not take place. Elmore also provides group clinical supervision of employees carrying a caseload.
Elmore supports all employees to improve their skills through training opportunities, and a training budget is provided for individual and team training. Individual training will meet the employee’s personal development plan, drawn up in appraisals and reviewed in supervisions.
Pensions
The employer contribution is set at 5% and will be paid on completion of an employee’s probationary period. The scheme enables you to save for your retirement using your own money, together with tax relief and contributions from Elmore.
Carers/Dependents Leave
We recognise that family emergencies cannot always be planned for, so Elmore offers carers and dependants leave to parents to assist them in resolving emergencies or making alternative arrangements for care provision.
Sustainable Travel
Employees can receive financial support for bike usage as part of their monthly travel expenses in line with Elmore’s Sustainability Policy.
Committed to your work-home balance
Elmore recognises the importance of a healthy balance between work and home, and we offer flexible working opportunities for our staff, such as part-time working, flexi-time, and fixed-term contracts. The typical full-time working week is 37.5 hours, spread over five days, Monday to Friday, between the hours of 9am and 5pm.
