We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Domestic Abuse Caseworker (perpetrator team) to join our team. Elmore is a charity supporting people with mental health, homelessness, substance abuse, and domestic abuse.   • Offer emotional support and practical advice to victims of domestic abuse, ensuring their safety and well-being.

  • Develop personalised safety plans and support clients through crisis situations.

  • Work collaboratively with external agencies such as police, social services, and legal professionals to coordinate support.

  • Participate in case reviews, team meetings, and ongoing training programmes to enhance service delivery.

Experience

  • Previous experience working with individuals affected by domestic abuse or in a social care setting is desirable.

  • Experience working with children is advantageous, as the role involves supporting families with young dependents.

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to listen empathetically and convey information clearly.

  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.

  • Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and relevant legislation relating to domestic abuse is preferred but not essential.

  • Do you have experience supporting people who have experienced Domestic Abuse as a victim/survivor and/or a perpetrator? (Desirable)

  • Do you have at least 18 months' experience of providing support/care /treatment to help people change their lives in at least two of the following: mental health, complex needs, sexual exploitation, substance misuse, homelessness, offending or anti-social behaviour (essential)

  • Experience of delivering recovery focused and evidence-based interventions and/or group work (essential)
